“Me love Freddie?” She took a moment and started to question how she felt about him. She knew for sure that she didn’t love him, but she wouldn’t mind giving them a second chance. Katie had so much things going on in her life, she didn’t really care for relationships at the moment. Lately, she had been just shagging random guys she had met at pubs and clubs. “I don’t ever think I loved Freddie even when we were together. I, personally, don’t believe in love. I have no fucking clue what it feels like, so I’m not too sure..” Effy was right though. Everyone had their lover/significant person in their lives. And she was honestly a bit jealous. “Actually, it leaves just me really. Cook loves you and I’m pretty sure Freds does too. Everyone loves someone. Except me, of course. I’m a fucking loner.”
Effy smirked, “That’s when your wrong..I’m a fucking wanker. I don’t know if they like me for the shags or for.. this fucking mysterious shit i pull off.” she was so stressed out. “Maybe if i don’t end up with either Cook or Freds they might turn Gay on us.” she shrugged “They are kind of desperate.” A lot was going in her mind. Like did she still like Freddie? Does Cook really love her more? I wonder what it is like to be lesbian? What’s it mean to be bi-curious?

Katie laughed and shook her head. “I’m never wrong, for your information.” She winked as she said this. “You’re not a wanker, Eff. You’re a mysterious girl, that’s for sure. Cook most likely actually loves and has some deep, romantic feelings for you. The shags are just a bonus, y’know.” She thought about how it would be if Freddie and Cook did go gay because Effy didn’t choose either of them. “Hmmm, Freds and Cook gone gay. Sadly, I could see that happening. Which would fucking suck, since they’re both extremely fit.” Katie wasn’t going to lie there. The boys might not have the personality to satisfy her, but they were built, and she liked that. “Sometimes, it seems easier if I just become a muff-muncher instead. I don’t like to handle all that boy drama bullshit.”
“Sorry to change the subject but I kind of don’t want to talk about Cook or Freddie anymore…and love.” she pressed her lips together. “Um..Want to watch the movies or do something?” She didn’t look at the time but they had been talking about boys for nearly an hour. Thinking about boys as she was trying not too she thought of how Pandoras mum doesn’t like boys what so ever, and it kind of made her laugh she wondered how her mum lost her virginity if she hated men and had Pandora.
“No, it’s fine. I’m not even sure how we got on the subject of guys, love, and all that bullshit.” Katie shrugged. Love was the last thing on her mind right now. But she did find it nice to open up to someone about how she felt. She rarely let anyone know what she was thinking or how she felt. Because if they knew what she was truly thinking, it would make her vulnerable and scared that they would use her thoughts against her. She always enjoyed a good shag, but she wanted someone to actually be in love with. It sounded a bit corny but that’s how she felt. She wasn’t going to deny it. Katie suddenly stopped thinking and gathered up her thoughts. “We could watch the movie or we could light these babies up and forget about all our problems for a bit, yeah?” Katie then reached into her front pocket and retrieved a small, silver tin case. She opened it to reveal it was full of nicely organized spliffs. She handed one to Effy and slipped another in her mouth. “Got a lighter on you?” She said as she smiled.
Effy pulled out a lighter from her back pocket and handed it to Katie after she lighted her own and took a drag. She didn’t think it was that bad hanging out with Katie and it wasn’t the usual hatred, tense, or awkward feeling. But of course it could have been worse than she thought. “I heard you um..menopause..That must be great since you don’t get to get pregnant, yeah?”
Katie: You’re such a secretive little cow!
Emily: What the fuck? Can’t I sleep with someone now?
Katie: He’s not someone, he’s a mong.
Emily: Right, well, I feel like having sex with him. I don’t have to ask you.
Katie: Yes, you do!
